Doctor Michael Minaldi

Dr. Minaldi
is originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana and attended Louisiana

State University for his undergraduate and veterinary school studies. Following

veterinary school graduation in 2019, Dr. Minaldi moved to Nashville,

Tennessee and completed a one-year rotating internship followed by a year

working in a visual sciences research laboratory at Vanderbilt University

Medical Center. He then completed a three-year ophthalmology residency and

obtained his Master’s degree at Mississippi State University College of

Veterinary Medicine. Following completion of his residency, Dr. Minaldi

became a board certified veterinary ophthalmologist in 2024. Dr. Minaldi then

practiced at an ophthalmology-only practice in Nashville before moving back

south to Houston.

In his free time, Dr. Minaldi enjoys exercising, visiting U.S. National Parks,

trying new restaurants, and cheering on the LSU Tigers (much to his blood

pressure’s detriment and wife’s chagrin). Dr. Minaldi is excited to be back on

the Gulf Coast with his family including his wife, two sons, and black Boxer,

Ruby.
